Casa da Criança is a non-profit institution located in Guimarães, Portugal. Its aim is to provide temporary shelter for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Since 2005, they have already accommodated 130 children who have been adopted or returned to their biological family.
Girl MOVE Academy

Dress a Girl Portugal
Dress a Girl Around the World is a NGO based in the United States with the mission of creating dresses to donate to girls in needy countries, providing them with dignity, protection, and hope. It made its debut in Portugal in 2016 as part of the project “Dress a Girl Portugal” with the collaboration of several sewing ateliers, day centers, schools, senior universities, and informal groups spread across the country, promoting solidarity sewing meetings.
Lar Santa Teresa
Lar de Santa Teresa, based in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, has a care home and a children's home allowing children and young people to return to living in a healthy family context and also receive training for the world of work. It has its own funds, which in addition to providing an educational and training purpose, are tools that allow structuring and sustaining the institution.
