You just got your brand new pair of Josefinas sneakers and you can’t wait to start all your adventures with them. We know how much this means ❤. We also know you’ll have a long relationship with them, which is why we want them to accompany with no boundaries and in the finest condition.
In some situations, it may be inevitable that your sneakers will be targeted by dirt and stains. So that you may rest easy, we have two suggestions, one preventive, another of treatment.
Waterproofing is a preventive way that helps avoid getting your sneakers stained. If you have to remove dirt or a smudge, we advise you do it as quickly as possible.
To clean your leather sneakers (such as B Side and Dream Big), we recommend that you first wipe it with a soft and dry cloth to remove excess dirt. Afterwards, you should moisten a soft cloth with water and soap and wipe the leather without getting the sneakers wet. Following that, you should remove any excess moisture. If it happens to be a coffee or wine stain, for example, we recommend that you press a microfiber cloth on it, without any movement, to absorb the most liquid possible. The stain should be treated by a specialist. For that, you can contact us), to tell you the best procedure depending on whichever Josefinas model you own.
Some leather sneakers will have faux fur accessories. These should be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth and brushed delicately, always in the fur’s natural direction.
To keep the beauty of your velvet sneakers and this material’s properties, we recommend that you always clean them with a soft, dry cloth. Liquids can damage the velvet: if it’s a liquid stain, we recommend you use a warm cloth, leaving it for some time on the stain.
If you have any trouble removing the dirt, you can use a quality product suited to the material at hand, rigorously following its instructions.
Remember that, regardless of the material, you shouldn’t put your Josefinas in the washing machine. Plus, anytime you need to dry them, you should do it in the open air without applying any heat sources.
Now your Josefinas are ready! :)
